@c2d : Sorry for late reply. Although the slider images are responsive but they get cropped on mobile devices because they are used as background images. If you view the demo of the theme in desktop and mobile version you can find that some part of the background gets cropped on mobile devices. Let me know if you have any more issues with the theme.

Under Read More Text Enter text as desired.

Note : It will change the excerpt text in all other areas as well and not only in slider button.
