    @btcbtc : Please post in your site URL so that I can check for issues on your site and provide you the required fix. The above css code should fix the height issue for the featured slider.

    Hello Sakin,

    My homepage uses the featured slider. Below it is the static page which is one column. The full smaller image is in the column at the bottom-not shown in the photo but a crop appears full height to the left of the column, see link below

    Oh, thx for the quick answer but ‘what a pity’. There are many Slider Plugins outside, but the Mainproblem is, that I never can get a Slider or Headerimage above the top Mainmenue. The MainMenue and the Featured Content Menue are not in the page but the sliders call have to be positioned into the page. I would be very happy if someone has an idea for this.

    @rmailuhu  :  Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Additional css and add the following css.

      .custom-header-content, #feature-slider .entry-container {
        padding: 180px 60px;
      }
      .featured-content-wrapper.layout-three .hentry {
        width: 33.33%;
      }
    }

    @tikaram : Thank you for your help!

    Also have a question about the Featured Slider. How can I change the image size on tablet and mobile version?
    It’s super small.
    Actually I would like to have a lay-out which will look the same as the desktop version:
    – Featured Slider
    – Featured Content: 3 columns next to each other.

    And the tagline is not visible on tablet and mobile version.

    Hope you can help, thanks.

    @steveide : You can make use of the featured slider section that is included in the theme. You can link a single slider with one URL but there is no option to link multiple links from a single slider image. I recommend you to look for a suitable plugin that fits your requirements. Let me know if you have any theme related issues.

    @accucomm : I suggest you to update the theme to the latest version as it contains security updates and bug fixes. The updated version of the theme supports a feature where you can sort the positions of sections of your Homepage as desired.
    After updating the theme. Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Sections Sorter
    Drag and drop the primary menu below featured slider and you will get the result as desired.
    Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Now I have dealt with the plugin. The following points should be mentioned:
    Point 3 of Oaben has done it, it works. Unfortunately you do not see this in the preview, but only after saving, when loading the page.

    The preview is very bad, the page is wider than the screen and therefore not everything can be stored. Makes work a little cumbersome. So I took a look at Oxygen, they solved it very nicely. The preschhau works perfectly and the operation is sometimes easier.

    To my requirements of the slider, second last section from above:
    – genes -sided representation
    – The slider should automatically switch to the next picture
    – The pictures should be displayed in a random order
    – The pictures should be able to be made. This means that the picture is switched on depending on the image -making dimension, for example to be conceived on a smartphone. Here I want to be able to determine with each picture whether the image is now displayed in which position.
    -se should run like on my current website https://vah.ch/#featured-slider-section

    It worked! Thank you SO much!!

    I have one more question, if it’s permissible. I am using the Featured Slider on my home page, and I wanted to see if I could increase the size of the slider just a bit. Here is the preview link to my site:  https://ronfairchild.com/?share=6e330dec24c7a9c800e76ac8cdd80f92bcf5d7f5389a5b4a8d04474e04486a87

    Thank you again!

    @mperazzetti : I checked your site and I don’t seem to find any issue with the header image size. If you reduce the size of header image, part of images will be cropped and it might affect the view of your page.
    Can you please let me know which images you are referring as sample images?
    The rotating series of header images is know as featured slider section. The images change every four seconds.

    Hi Tikaram

    I’m afraid I really don’t understand. When I go to Customise => Featured Slider, I can see Select Slider Type: Demo or Page, so I’ve selected page. Then I see Featured Page #1 – #4 and these show the list of all my website pages ?? What I want to do is have 4 images in a slider on the Home page, not cycle through pages. As the site is live I’m loath to experiment with it when I don’t understand how to make it work in the way I want to. I have already loaded my 4 images into Header Image, so I’m totally at a loss, so please help!

    I know there are lots of other slider plugins, but as I’m using Catch Themes and Featured Slider is the one embedded in my Home page style, I assume I have to use it.

    Regards,

    Phil

    Hi Glen,

    You can remove that Slider Overlay, go to “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Slider” and in the “Slider Overlay” option, just type 0 and publish it.

    To change the slideshow images : Login to your WordPress admin section.
    Go to Appearance => Customize => Featured Slider
    Under Enable Slider on : Select Homepage/Frontpage or entire site.
    Under Select Slider Type : select Page and select the pages as desired. The featured images of pages will appear as slider images. Let me know if this helps you out.
