This is my error message:

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete.

 

Catch Base  Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.

Child

I deleted and reinstalled the theme. Still no luck. Only 4 plugins in use.

Please advise!

This is the url with the error message. The featured slider is not appearing on the home page. Everything else seems to be working fine.

I think the issue is with the Themify Builder update and Catch Base. I don’t know how to resolve it. Any ideas?

Hello again, Skandha,

I figured it out. The problem came when I updated the Themify Builder. I restored my plugins from before this incident and the homepage slider returned. I’ve disabled all auto updates for plugins to avoid this in future.

Also, I went back to the Catch Base free theme, because the 1 year renewal price for the Pro version has gotten too expensive, in my opinion. It forced me change the featured slider setup (setting up new pages with featured images rather than just using the custom images option in Pro) but it works.
