@adamoverthelineracing-com-au: First you will need to create a custom menu from dashboard, save it and assign the social menu in the desired location.
In the WordPress admin section : Go to Appearance => Menus
After you have created a social menu you will need to assign the menu to specific location. The menu location for social below main menu is named as Social on Header . You will need to select the menu name that you created for social menu.

If you have knowledge of child theme customization you may create a child theme and make the desired changes. Alternatively you may hire a customizer to get your site customized.
