@cameo : You will need to select a different page template for Gallery page. When you edit your page, locate page attribute. Under Template : Select either blank content page or blank page. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

GO to Appearance => Customize => Content Options
Under Featured Images : Uncheck Display on single posts/Display on pages
Alternatively, you may hide with additional css.

@victoralejandrobr : You can have a video header on Homepage. To enable it : Go to Appearance => Customize => Header Media
Under Enable on : Select Homepage /Frontpage.

The featured image will be displayed above the post if you enable it from the customizer but the image will not appear in the header. Make sure that you have added featured image on every post. To enable featured image on each post. Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options
Under Single Page/Post Image : Select enable.

@victoralejandrobr : You cannot update the Pro theme directly by just clicking the update button as in the free theme.
You’ll need to first download the theme from https://catchthemes.com/my-account/ page. Then install Catch Web Tools plugin and activate Catch Updater Module.

You don’t need to worry about child theme. You just need to update the parent theme only. Let me know if you have any more issues.

@nsd : The background image is visible in boxed layout only, currently you have fluid layout activated. Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout options

@jkilduff : You will need to create a child theme and customize your site as desired. If you edit the parent theme directly, all the changes you make within the parent theme will be lost.

To enable featured image option on single page: Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Content Featured Image Options
Select featured Image and save.
Enable featured slider only on Homepage and on single pages the featured image will appear.

@effess : You should never make any edits to the parent theme directly. I suggest you to download and active catch web tools plugin. Enable Webmaster Module in catch web tools plugin and insert the script under Header and Footer scripts. Let me know if this resolves your issue.
