@brew : Have you tried clearing cache at your end ? Please post in your site URL as well. You can view the changelog to know more about the changes made in version 3.0. Clearing cache should resolve your issue.

@rcbharp : You will need to create a child theme and customize the site as desired. Let me know if you are comfortable with creating child themes and customizing your site. Alternatively, you may hire customizer to get your site customized if you have difficulty with child theme customization.

The border around the slider is from image itself and its not from the css code of the site. You can check the images that you have uploaded as featured slider.

To remove the two white lines at the top and bottom of the site add the following additional css.
```

	border-top:0;
}
#masthead .bottom-bg {
	border-bottom: 0;

}
```

@petegwebmaster : It looks like you have removed the css of Genericons from your site. Next thing is the source of your site is not visible and its difficult to find out the exact solution in this situation. Try doing a fresh installation of the theme. Hope this resolves your issue.

@inkwaves :Try to regenerate the thumbnails using the Regenerate Thumbnails Plugin. If this does not work you will need to upload images with correct dimension as mentioned by @skandha

@akinzer : The name of the section below the projects is called by hero content. You can easily add hero content from customizer.
