For the time being
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

You seem to have made changes to the style.css file. I suggest you not to make changes to core themes directly as all the changes you make will be lost when you update the theme. So if you have to make changes first create a child theme and then make the changes in the child theme.

Can you revert all the changes you have made to the theme files and let me know what changes you would like to make so that I can help you out.

There is a way you can social icons in front of the Menu Toggle. For that you will need to create a child theme and do a little bit of cusotmization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.
