The Custom Css is not stored in file. It is stored in database. If you havd your backup database, then you need to restore from that. Please seek professional help if you are not comfortable with performing database tasks.

Hi Lexi,

Did you recently change the theme to our theme? If that is the case, posts before our theme have not been cropped so it shows full theme. Posts after adding our theme, have been cropped for optimization. So you are getting different images.

Once you change the theme, you need to regenerate the thumbnail. Follow instructions here to regenerate thumbnails.

Once you do this, all your images will appear cropped. I know this is not the solution you want but theme will require you to use a square based image to work.

I can help you remove date using custom css. But I doubt it will work on google as it will only hide the date from view and not actually remove the date.

To completely remove the date, you need to do some customization via child theme. For that, first, please make a child theme via instructions at http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/.

After this, please let me know and I will provide you with some functions to hide date.

Ah yes. Try something like following:

    max-height: 50px;
    max-width: 100%;
}

Increase size of 50px to increase size of image as well.

There is max-height and width cap for logo in this theme. For removing the cap, try following code in Appearance=> Customize=> Additional CSS box:

I apologize for having bad experience with the theme. I will try to resolve your issues as swiftly as possible.

I have tried to change the colour of the promotional header text… I can change the back ground colour, thats it…nothing else…
I checked it on my installation, and all the color ootions for promotion headline is working properly. Is there any custom CSS overriding our CSS. Please post in your site url and I will check this for you.

In addition I ended up removing the Front page slider as when viewed by mobile devices…the text would overlap other portions of the page…making them unreadable and nothing like what you would consider proffessional

Hi Lexi,

I checked your site and the best size for this theme is using image 360×375. However, if you use any near square image, there should be no trouble.

558 × 744 is a bit tall, so the image is getting stretched.

Hi @Gary,

The way it is setup, if there is no featured image, the first image of the content will be pulled so that there is no blank image.

In your settings in Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Content=> Display Content option, you must have Show Full Content options saved. Please set it as Show Excerpt and the image will not be shown twice. However, full content will not be shown here too, and it will show excerpt.

If this does not solve your issue, we will need to make some modifications via child theme. But that is for later.
