ParticipantHi
I am wondering if you could help me… on my homepage my featured image normally gets resized so you can view the whole image which is perfect but I have just added a new post and it has blown up the image so you only see it partially. All of the food images I have used as featured images are the same size 558 × 744 pixels. Is there anyway I can fix this?
Thank you in advance.
Lexi

KeymasterHi Lexi,
I checked your site and the best size for this theme is using image 360×375. However, if you use any near square image, there should be no trouble.
558 × 744 is a bit tall, so the image is getting stretched.

ParticipantHi Pratick
Thank you for your reply, I understand what you are saying but as my other images are the same size and are being shown fully why is it that this one post is being cropped? Could you think of a reason why it is not accepting it as a full photo as it has with all the previous posts?
Kind regards

KeymasterHi Lexi,
Did you recently change the theme to our theme? If that is the case, posts before our theme have not been cropped so it shows full theme. Posts after adding our theme, have been cropped for optimization. So you are getting different images.
Once you change the theme, you need to regenerate the thumbnail. Follow instructions here to regenerate thumbnails.
Once you do this, all your images will appear cropped. I know this is not the solution you want but theme will require you to use a square based image to work.

ParticipantHi Pratik
You’re right! I did only just start using your theme. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question, at least I know now. I will try and use square images from now on.
Thanks again,
