Another is that do you want to make your homepage with the posts. Then go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage/Frontpage Settings”, then check on “Enable Latest Posts”.

In you are using Free version then you have option to add Featured Post Slider, for this you need to create post and add featured image in your post.
