Hi my wife and I are off to climb Island Peak in Nepal in a few weeks and wanted to get our blog\site. To start the site I added some images to go in the slider. http://Www.grayscottage.co.uk/blog

The thing is this now makes the blog confusing as the photos appear as blogs but are unrelated. I want the slider have some images in but hide these blog posts. Can it be done?

I also want the blog to start from day 1 and then have all the rest following I.e. oldest first.

    Any help appreciated.

@grayscottage: Do you mean that you just want image as the slider and that doesn’t link to the post? If that is the case then you need to upgrade to Pro version and use Image Slider. Free version only have Featured Post Slider.

Another is that do you want to make your homepage with the posts. Then go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage/Frontpage Settings”, then check on “Enable Latest Posts”.

Yes you are right ideally I would like to add photos to the slider which are not linked to the post. This Blog is to advertise our fundraising activity for a severely mentally and physically disabled young girl to go skiing linking to http://www.justgiving.com/simon-Watson7

How much might the pro version cost? We are want to make it look good but without it costing a developer to write or costly theme?

Re the posting – this is not going on the home page but we wish to kick off with the Charity fundraising rally, then prep for the climb then day by day as opposed to the fundraising bit moving downwards.

    Kindest regards

    Simon
