    I am updating from version 2.0. I renewed my license. In my themes section it says that I can click to update, but the update failed. What am I missing?

    @pspector : Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => About Theme
    Now Click on License tab : You will need to enter the License key that you can find from  your My Account. After entering the license key save the changes and you should be able to update the theme without any issues.

    let me know if you are still having theme related issues.
