How do I change the address of us? I have an old address seen bottom left homepage…no idea where to find that to edit!! Help!

Actually I seem to have doen that re the pics opening in other page – cool thanks…so the chnage of address question would eb appreciated….and also how do i remove the Gallery and the post/reply comment box from below the featured content – all I would like to see on home is the slifder, the 4 featured contenbt boxes and then the boorom with address etc…..

Then when people click on gallery at top and other places at the bottom of gallery how to get rid of this leave a reply thing?!!!

the address that you have in bottom footer left it from “Appearance => Widgets” and check in Footer Areas

To remove your gallery page from your homepage, you need to go to “Settings => Readings” and in “Front page displays” click on “Your latest posts” and Save Changes.

Then go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage / Fontpage Settings” and Check to disable in “Disable Latest Posts” and save changes.

To remove comment in pages, you can go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Comments Options”

Brilliant dude thnaks….all done with exception:

For the gallery – i inserted as you said and its doen it but 7 time sout 10 there is no image when it opens new wiondwon..can you have a play you will see what i mean..soemtimes it comes up mostly not

1) So I have added a link from the new menu tab : superyachts which takes straight to a site page ok….but I want it to open in a new window not replace my site…how can I do this please?

Hi Phil,

1. I see that you are talking about opening you custom link in menu to new window. This is pretty simple. Go to “Appearance => Menus” and then edit your menu and then check in “Open Link in New Window/tab”. If you don’t need this option then check your screen options. 2. Oh sorry the comment option is only there in Pro version. In free theme, you need to manually edit your page/post and then remove comment from there. See this screenshot http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798329843253/
3. I don’t know how you have added your home in menu. You home item in menu is linked to http://rice.voyage/wordpress/home-3/, You can change to http://rice.voyage/wordpress/. Sorry and also what is the quickest way to remove that extension at the end of my home page ie home 3? so when people click on a slider pic it takes them out and you cant get back in without putting the main url back in again?

1. Please follow the instruction carefully. I already told you if you don’t have “Open in New Window/Tab”, then in menu screen go to “Screen Option” and check in Link target. 3. For comment best option is to upgrade to pro version. For free we are not allowed to change as per the WordPress.org theme review guideline. You need to manually remove in all your old post and old pages. But for new post/page, you can just go to “Settings => Discussion” from your WordPress Dashboard and then in “Default article settings” uncheck “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)” and “Allow people to post comments on new articles”

Ok to all, sorry for so much inconveninece. By the way the entire webiste has gone down overnight – any idea why this may be? I noticed spam attacks on those comments pages, couod that be anything to do with it?

Saw video but doesnt tell me how to undo those links- the one on Home on the menu as you say for soem reason is linked to home-3/ whatever that is and also same for Gallery that is linked to Gallery-2/ no idea why and cannot seem to kock that off, as it is you cannot get out of gallery-2 and if you try go to Home it takes you to Home-2 appreciate let me know how to do that mate…

After this I will just have to be ok as dont have the budegt to hire anyone and am stuck….

Just go to “Appearance => Menus” and then in in your menu with the label Home, just click on right corner and it will expand it. Then you will see remove button. Then you can add back home menu.

1. No Sidebar, Full Width content layout is only there in Adventurous Pro theme. So, fro this you need to upgrade it.

@Phil: Sorry to add video in the slider, you might need to hire customizer at http://catchthemes.com/hire-customizer/ as there is no option at this stage. We will look forward for this option in future version update.

But yes, you can add embed video in other places like featured content, pages, posts and widgets. Also you can look for slider plugin at http://wordpress.org/plugins/ which have option to add in video.

Yes, you can change the promotion headline background color and text color. I have changed the background color and border color to black and text to white. You can add the following css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
