I would like to add the page number under the posts that looks like this:
ex) Page 1 of 2 [1] [2] >>
I tried to find the menu from settings page, but I couldn’t. How could I add this?
+) How do I limit the number of posts displayed on the front page? (Not the number of Featured posts in the slider box.)
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I’d like to reduce the size of the homepage slider content box so its not covering up so much of the image.
Is there a way to do that?
Thank you.
@Sakin
For the border box I don’t mean the featured image. If you scroll down I have a subscribe box and news box – how do you properly put a border around those?
I have tried the ‘Homepage Featured Content’ but the images are not the same size as the slider. I think I am using the wrong thing. Where is the featured page slider?
Thank you!
@Raminder: As you can see in your site the featured image in fit with the box. It’s just some are larger height and another smaller height.
For Slider link: If you use featured image slider, then you can link to any place my changing the URL in link section. But if you want to change directly to pages, then you can use featured page slider. That you can select from Slider options in your Theme Options panel.
@Sakin
Sorry for more questions!
I have some border boxes on my website (as can be seen on the Homepage and Venue page) however how do i do it so it is around that area properly? At the moment I have sized the boxes and it doesn’t fit if I change the image etc.
Secondly, on the Featured image slide, I would like the link to take the person to a specific page. How can I do this?
Thank you!
@acanthuroid:
I am wanting to add a full width header image for each of my Pages.
This is to be the same height and width as the slider image on the Homepage.
I want to add it to all Pages except the Homepage.
— This option is only there in Pro version. Where you can add it from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options”.
See the details about additional features in Catch Everest Pro at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest-pro/
Worked it out:
On Page, set featured image (choosing one that is slider width) and check the default radio in Content Featured Image Size
In Theme Options > Header Featured Image Options >
Enable Featured Header Image > check Pages & Posts
Page/Post Featured Image Size > check Slider Image
Featured HeaderImage Position > check After Menu (or wherever you want your image to be)
🙂
I would like to do something similar:
I have created a featured slider for the homepage but feel that single static images would be better for subsequent pages.
Is there a way to do this?
Thank you!
Hi
I am wanting to add a full width header image for each of my Pages.
This is to be the same height and width as the slider image on the Homepage.
I want to add it to all Pages except the Homepage.
I have tried:
1) adding code per Page, which doesn’t do anything
2) making a new template, which works to a certain extent but is with the Content wrap so is restricted to the margins set within this.
3) Adding the div within the header, which gives me exactly what I want except it is on the Homepage too, which I don’t want.
I also want the ability to change each header image so I wanted to set the div to read from the featured image set per page.
Is there any way to do this please as I am going around in circles a little here.
Many thanks
@bangerang: Thanks for your appreciation and sorry this is Featured Post Slider, so it will link to post. If you are developer, then you can build child theme and edit the function. For easy way, you need to use Featured Image slider. For that you need to upgrade to pro version and you will enjoy a lot more features. See this http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest-pro/
@steadymarvin: If you want simple solution then just upgrade to Catch Everest Pro theme which have options for your both questions.
For slider, you can use image slider and upload the image of your own choice. For color there is Color picker in Theme Options panel.
But for free Catch Everest Theme:
For slider: You need to add the smaller image in the featured image in the post.
For color of post titles, you can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
.entry-header .entry-title a {
color: #222;
}
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to change the order of the layout on the frontpage. At the moment the layout is.
1) slider
2) headline options
3) featured content
4) normal text written when created the page.
5) leave a reply.
I would like to change the layout to.
1) normal text written when created the page.
2) featured content
I also would like to remove the possibility to write a comment.
Thanks!
Fredrik
Thanks for your help Saikin Im going to buy Everest Pro
@david leger: Have to add the post ID in Featured Post Slider options. Check the id there. If not then I will contact you through email. You can send me details there.
@jwendell: You can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
/* For larger screen size of minimum width 1000px */
@media screen and (min-width: 1000px) {
#hgroup.with-logo {
clear: none;
float: left;
padding-left: 15px;
}
}
Thanks Sakin, how do I align my logo and header text? http://www.wendellassociates.com
@svoelker: Ok I need your site access to check what changes you have made in. Reply me in email.
@jwendell: Yes Pro is easier to use as it has more easy option in Theme Options panel. Catch Themes and Catch Internet uses the Custom Theme and it’s not in public release. It depends on the settings. I see lot of people using Catch Box Pro, Simple Catch Pro and Catch Everest Pro for their business site.
@albertoc: You are not supposed to do that from your image folder. See the instruction mentioned above. If you are using Free Catch Everest Theme, then you can use the Featured Post Slider only.
another question, which theme do you like best for a business?
