Hi Skandha,
I moved the location of the video to the home page and posted it using a slider plugin. It displays fine on desktop, but on mobile browser Firefox display is distorted. Home page is here: https://iglobal.net
I contacted the plugin support and they said this is their reply:
The problem is caused by this file:
https://iglobal.net/wp-content/themes/adventurous-pro/js/fitvids.min.js
Your theme inserts all Vimeo videos of your website on mobile Firefox into a “fluid-width-video-wrapper” div element and this creates that extra size for your video. You should check out your theme settings, to see if you have some kind of “Fitvids” option you could turn off. If you wouldn’t, I suggest getting in touch with your theme and ask them to help you resolve this issue, possibly by creating an option to turn off Fitvids. Can we disable Fitvids? Please let me know.
Thank you,
EdwinEdwinParticipantHi Skandha,
PERFECT! Thank you so much. It works just as intended now in both browsers and devices.

EdwinParticipantHi Skandha,
If I wanted to test it how would I remove the fixed header? What would be the impact on the website display?
Thank you,
EdwinEdwinParticipantHi Skandha,
Yes, that solved it, so it will display the review in Firefox correctly. My only wish is that the link target could be moved up slightly to display the customer name and gold stars.
Is this possible with css code?
Either way, thanks for taking the time to give me the solution.
Edwin
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha,
Thanks for looking into this.
I removed the reviews widget from the footer, but there are still issues.
In Firefox desktop and mobile the review does not display at all. Here is a screenshot of the link target is the related products.
In Chrome desktop and mobile, it displays the written review, but only the text. You cannot see the gold stars, verified owner’s name or the product name.
Is there some way way can to make the link target display correctly in different browsers on all devices? Such as in the previous example: https://goldenbuddha.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/reviews.jpg
Thanks for your assistance,
EdwinEdwinParticipantHi Skandha,
Yes, I agree it is a Woocommerce widget. I posted in the WordPress forum and Woocommerce is not able to assist, it is worse than I expected. They are not helpful at all. I am very frustrated about it.
Would you be able to write css code to correct the link target? Ideally, it should look like this. https://goldenbuddha.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/reviews.jpg it should display properly across devices and browsers.
Can you assist? Please give it a try when you have time.
Thank you,
Edwin
EdwinParticipantThat worked great, thanks for the code. One more slight issue. In the secondary menu drop down on desk top, when clicked the window turns white. Can that be adjusted in css? This does not happen in the primary sub-menu. Thanks again.
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha, thanks for the code, that worked great. But there is one more issue with the primary menu. The sub-menu hover creates a box and does not fill to the edge like with the secondary menu. Also, there is is a gap at the bottom. Can you assist? I would like the sub-menu to display in hover similar to the secondary menu. Thanks – Edwin
EdwinParticipantI want to adjust it in the primary menu also, thank you. It is the same issue, the sub menus are much too wide.
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha,
This is fixed in desktop browsers, but it is still ghosting in the chrome mobile browser. Can we enhance the code? It is doing it on this website iglobal.net
Thanks, Edwin
EdwinParticipantAlso, I tried to implement the slider on my other website goldenbuddha.net, which has the exact same layout, inserting the new page number worked but I cannot remove the remaining gap. I inserted the same code but it does not work.
#main {
margin-top: -20px;
}This code did not work on this website.
Can you assist?
EdwinParticipantThere was an incredibly simple solution, I was able to create some space with simple html on the page. Not sure why I did not think of it earlier. Thanks for your assistance with the other issues.
EdwinParticipantThanks Skandha, that worked great. Can you create a little bit of space under the slider so the H1 title is not so snug?
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha, that fixed the issue on the product pages. I am not sure disabling the plugin is a good idea, without it the slider would disappear. The original slider that came with the theme did not show the space on the home page. I hope that helps resolve it. Should I ask the plugin creator about it?
EdwinParticipantSkandha, a problem I just found is that on the product pages, the space between the top of the listing and the header is removed, it is flush up against the secondary header menu. This is what I want on the home page, but not the product pages. You can view it here: https://iglobal.net/product/antigua-and-barbuda-citizenship-by-investment/ – the pages and posts seem fine though. Can you adjust this?
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha, it looks much better but there is still a gap between the slider and the header menu. Can you fix it? Also, can we create a small gap about the same size below the slider to pad the page title?
EdwinParticipantI want to remove the space in all three device types, mobile, desktop and tablet.
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha, thanks for the CSS code, it worked very well. One more issue I am having is with the product images in search results. Is it possible to exclude the product images? They are way too large in desktop and I do not think they are entirely necessary anyway. You can view it here: goldenbuddha.net If you can make them fit better, that is best. But if not, please send the CSS code to exclude the product images from search. Thank you, Edwin
EdwinParticipantI found the code for the woocommerce product titles, so it is no longer an issue. But I need to change the woocommerce cross sell text “You Also May Like….” because it is too large. You can view it in this product listing here: https://goldenbuddha.net/product/kubera-dzambhala-statue/
Can you send the CSS code? Thanks!
EdwinParticipantHi Skandha, this works pretty good. But it also affects the product titles in woocommerce. You can see the issue here: https://goldenbuddha.net/product-tag/dzambhala-statues-kubera/ Can you send a solution so I can adjust the product titles separately from the post and page titles? I like the larger text for the product titles, but not quite that big. Also, I should adjust the color. Thanks, Edwin
