Hi — I have two questions I’d love some help with if possible.

1) Is there a way whereby the featured image I have selected for each page can becomes the background for the page?

2) When I select “Excluding FrontPage” for my Header media, the Header photo shows up as expected on all the other pages but on the front page, there is now a large black area. I’d like there to be no change to the frontpage when Header Media is selected as “Excluding Frontpage” — is this possible?

@boonanalytics: You can select the feature image and can make header image but not the background for the page, for that you need to hire a customizer to get it done.

-Can you provide me your site url so that I can provide you additional css to remove that blank space from the home page.

My apologies — I had turned off header media so a black space did not appear on my home page. I have now turned header media (except for homepage) back on so you can see the black space on my home page. Thank you.

@boonanalytics: Go to=> Appearance=>Customize=> Additional CSS=> add the following css code

 .home .custom-header-media {
display: none !important;
}
