Hello,
I just purchased the Pro Photo Journal Theme but when I activate it my site is totallly broken, the portfolios disappear, so do the header images. I also use Jetpack.
Can someone help me please?
I bought it so my portfolios wouldn’t show each time that someone visites a page, which is not very user friendly.

@anna-apollonia: sorry to know that you are having issue with the Pro version of the theme. Do you want your Portfolios only on Homepage. Can you please explain in more detail regarding the Portfolio items so that I can help you resolve the issue. I will check the free to pro migration as well and let you know soon.

My portfolios are managed by Jetpack, I think that’s the problem. The fonts are different in the pro version too … Less poetic 😉
I want the portfolios only on the homepage yes. That’s mainly why I bought the theme. I would also like to change the footer but that seems hardcoded …

It’s not urgent but I’d like to fix this one day …

@anna-apollonia: The Portfolios can be enabled either on homepage or entire site as desired. The portfolio option is already available in the theme so you can make use of it instead of Jetpack. You can easily change the footer text from footer editor option from the customizer in the Pro version of the theme. I checked your site and it looks like you are using the free version of the theme. Let me know if you have any other theme related issues.

What option should I use then in the theme for portfolios? Catch galleries? I used the Jetpack portfolios because I cannot figure out how to add portfolios using the theme …

Is this a server problem then or theme related?
