ParticipantFor now I’ve tried to minimize the things the customer can use so that it’s easier for them to focus on content. Using Chique Pro this has been quite easy to set up even with my limited experience with WordPress sites. Using the Featured Content section on the homepage to display “news” category items works great and automatically generates an overview page that I’ve made blog style:
http://sportplatformwaddinxveen.nl/category/nieuws/
I chose to reference to this page in my navigation as well, because the auto generated items on individual posts also link back to this page. The only thing left for me that sticks out is there is an auto generated title over the image: “Category: Nieuws” as the screenshot below shows.

Is there any (easy) way to customize that title to read “Nieuwsberichten”? It’s not a showstopper if it can’t be done, but I’m sure to get feedback on the current title 😉
Kind regards,

Keymaster@david-van-balgooi: Hello David,
The Category that you create will show up as the title of the Category Archive Page. Since you have created the category Nieuws the title reads the same. You can remove the text Category: from the title but to rename Nieuws you will have rename the Category itself.Let me know what you would like to do.

ParticipantCan you inform me how I can remove the Category: from the title as you suggested above? I’ve not found where I can do this.
Thank you,

Keymaster@david-van-balgooi: Hello David,
For that you will need to use our free plugin Hide Archive Label. Install and Activate the plugin. Then,
Go to => Dashboard => Hide Archive Label => Check Category and Save Changes.Let me know if this works out!
Kind Regards,
