I tried free Shutter Up today and loved it so I bought the Pro theme. However, when I activated Pro, all of a sudden the most recent post started appearing above my regular recent posts. It is also malformed–styles are not rendering properly and I don’t this at the top of my news feed. I only want the most recent blog posts and nothing featured.

– notice repeated most recent post at the top with poorly formatted bullets as well as the geo coordinates of the photo (???!)

• Notice also that in the Customize view, the extra post is not shown.
  

How can I remove this repeated post? Thank you in advance for help.

@jamesmwhite70: I just visited your site and notice that top with poorly formatted bullets as well as the geo coordinates of the photo is appearing because of adding the elementor section. So please try to deactivate that plugin and recheck your site again.

Thank you, @sapana. I noticed the Elementor section as well, but it works fine with the free version of Shutter Up. So when I switch to free with Elementor activated, the problem does not occur. What is different about the Pro version that might cause this?

Also, everything looks fine in the preview while customizing the Shutter Up Pro Theme, so what could be making the unwanted post appear?

I just deactivated Elementor and created a new post. Something is still “off” that makes me suspect a bug with Shutter Up because now it says “From the Blog” above the recent posts feed. This also does not appear in the Free version, and this is with Elementor turned off.
