Hello,

I’m very new with WordPress and I’m seeing this issue when I’m posting my images via IFTTT from Instagram to WordPress.

<div class="post-thumbnail" style="background-image: url( 'http://photography.joelgallant.ca/wp-content/themes/fotografie/assets/images/no-thumb.jpg' )">

Why is it showing “no-thumb”? This is the part that has me confused and I understand why my images won’t load, but if someone can at least point me in the right direction, I’d love to solve this issue.

Thanks!

@jgallant : You cannot use the image from instagram as a featured image. You will need to add the image in the media library and while editing the post you will need to select the desired image to appear as featured image. Follow this link to know more about adding featured image to your post/page. Let me know if you have any more issues.

@tikaram – Thanks for the information. Would I be able to do it via another method? Posting it to a portfolio instead of a page or some other way? As you can imagine, the whole point of setting yup the automation is to simplify the post and not have to duplicate the work.

Edit: I was doing a little more playing around and it’s actually the thumbnail on the page prior to the post that I’m having issues with. If you take a look at photography.joelgallant.ca/photos, you’ll see what I mean.

Thoughts?

Cheers
Joel

@jgallant : I suggest you to hire a customizer if you are new to WordPress or seek professional help from someone who is an expert in the domain. Let me know if you have any theme related issues.

Just to confirm, this isn’t a theme issue? This is a WordPress issue?

@jgallant : You may test your your site with WordPress default theme like twenty-seventeen. If the issue seems to appear with default theme as well, then its not a theme related issue but if the problem persist with our theme only, then you may confirm that is a theme related issue. Let me know if you need any further assistance regarding the issue.

Tikaram
