I am interested in hiding individual entry titles in the metadata so that an entry title doesn’t show up as the metadata title for Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. I have already implemented all the proper Open Graph tags into the <head> portion of my HTML. However, my front page “title” (which is a quote) is still showing up as my main title on search engines and social platforms.
How can I tell browsers not to read that entry title (that is a quote) as a title that overrides the metadata tags I have put in? Here is my website for more context: https://jessmayhugh.com
Thank you for your help!

@jessmayhugh: The topic that you have mentioned here is under Search Engine Optimization (SEO) which studies the nature of the search engines and how they work. As you have mentioned that you have followed all the instructions properly to disallow search engine from reading your title but they are still showing. What I feel is the search engine might have crawled your site prior to adding of the open graph tags. Maybe you will need to wait for some days to see the changes . In the meantime let me know if you have any theme related questions I would be happy to answer your queries.
