Hello,
I am having an issue with my Featured Images not refreshing when changed. I currently have removed all Featured images from my pages. I am using the plugin Comet Cache and have used the manual clear feature. I tried deactivating Comet Cache. I tried reinstalling Comet Cache. I have cleared my browser cache. I have rebooted my cable modem. I deleted the images from the media library. Yet, when I share to social media platforms, the old image (thumbnail) still appears.
Note. This problem only applies to images. All other content updates fine.Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I was getting this on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. I checked again this morning and it is still doing it on Facebook and Twitter, but Google Plus is now picking up a thumbnail from the first YouTube video on the page. I have been testing this with my Home page.
I don’t know if this is related, but I also notice that when I make an update to a page/post I get a warning box about leaving the page and losing changes, even though I have clicked the update button several times.

Let me know if you have any further issues.

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/Apparently if you click the debugging button a couple of times it clears the issue. I don’t know how Twitter corrected.
I will take a look at the link you provided regarding plugins.
Thanks,
