We are tried two plug-ins for language switching, the posts, pages and widgets are successful to change language, but only “Featured Slider” is fail. We are using “Catch Everest Pro”, please help!! Thank you very much!

Could you clarify that. I am trying to use free version of Catch Everest but I couldn’t manage to change the featured post slides as well. http://www.svision.fi/wp. Do you mean that in order to do so I have to buy the pro version? Is there a way to get ride of the Everest and Nepal images?

@avatar789: Look at your slider. It is working fine. This show it has got plugin issues. Now you can activate plugin one by one and check in which plugin gave you the issue and then you can just remove that plugin.
@abtaxlaw: Sorry there is no option to add featured video instead of featured slider. So, to edit that you need to build child theme. You can check the function catchbox_slider_display()

I would like to replace the featured slider with an embedded video. Where would I find the code used for the featured slider on the homepage?
@lizzy39: If your id 246 and 290 both are post with featured image then it should work fine. If you have posted your site URL then it would have been easier for me to check in.
So you have
Featured Slider Post #1: 246
Featured Slider Post #2: 290
Is this is all correct then I doubt there is conflict with plugin. So, try disabling plugin one by one to find our the conflicting plugin.
Let me know your site URL if this doesn’t fix it.
@avatar789: In you site, I see that you have conflict with the plugin. So, can you try disabling plugin one by one. First try disabling Widget Slider plugin and then others.

If you want to rotate your banner then you can use Featured Image Slider from Slider type.
@kkrcmarik: Your header image in small and the Catch Everest width is 1140px. So, make your header image of minimum width 1140px and then add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box to remove the spaces.

In free version of Catch Everest. You cannot add Page ID. You need to create Post and then add the post ID.
For Page, category or image, you need to upgrade to Pro version.
@sakin i have added 2 different post ID’s – 246 and 290. but the only one that is showing is 246, Do you know what the problem could be please?

I have installed CatchBox Pro and when I follow the directions in the readme to add a slider I do not see featured slider. I also have some questions about this feature. I would like to put the slider in my banner as a rotating div.
Featured Slider
Catch Box Pro supports four kinds of Featured Sliders to choose from. Featured Post Slider, Featured Page Slider, Featured Category Slider and Featured Image Slider. It also comes with an additional feature of having the slider full width just below the menu or keeping it to normal width in the content.
To set up Featured Posts Slider, follow these basic steps:
Featured Post Slider is created to highlight your Posts through a slider. So, first you need to create a Post and then add Featured Image to the Post. Then you should remember your Post ID and follow these steps.
Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Slider” in your WordPress Dashboard
Under Slider Options select Slider Type as Featured Post Slider
Here you can also change the number of slides, slider effects and timing
Under Featured Post Slider Options, simply insert the ID numbers for Posts in the boxes, one Post ID number in each box
Save your changes

Hello, I’m using the Catch Everest Theme and customizing it for a website I’m working on. I’m having an issue with the header. The client wanted the header image that I posted (www.pressedandpulled.com/test/). It is designed to go the whole way across the top of the site. I turned off the header right part even though I would like the Facebook link available. It goes across the top, but with the responsive settings, there is weird padding that I can’t seem to change. If I turn responsive off, the header gets fixed, but then the spacing is off elsewhere. Any suggestions on fixing this? I thought about seeing if I could make the grass a repeating background image to help with the responsive part and then make the logo separate, but wasn’t sure if I could do that with this.
Second, I read the instructions for the Featured Post, but can’t seem to get it to work. I add an image to page 52 (Exhibitions) and then tried to set it, but it didn’t work. It clearly was seeing it but no image or text loaded. I undid it for now. Your instructions mentioned something about Featured Image but I can’t locate it.

@lizzy39: I check in your site and don’t see other post in your slider except the post ID 2. Remember, the free version of Catch Everest Theme only takes Post ID and it cannot be Page ID.

Does anybody know why my featured post slides aren’t showing properly? I have added 2 different posts and set the post number in theme options under the featured post slider tab. The first picture is appearing fine, however the second one does not show at all.
Does anybody know why this hasn’t worked properly please?
Also, is it possible to resize the width of the main content box in this theme? If so could somebody please tell me how i can do this?

I mean the webpage with 2 language system. If once I click “English” then it may swap to English language and show English text. If I click on Chinese Language, and show chinese text. I found that the post of slider image can support this function because the post message support multi-language. However, how about the 3 pictures with some text under the slider, i.e. Homepage featured content, can it support multi language swapping?
