    Hello,

I’m not able to select specific articles that I would like to include in the featured content area which I’ve selected to have 3 columns. When I go to Appearance, Customize, Feature Content, there is an option to feature pages, not posts in the featured content field which the only option displayed in the drop down is the About page. And in order for the Featured Content 3 column box to be visible is when I select Demo Featured Content.

My site is already live: http://www.thecoffeecup.nyc/

    Thank you so much!

    Hi @Sunshine,
You are using free version of Clean Box. Free version only supports Featured Page Content. If you want to highlight your posts, then you will need to upgrade to Clean Box Pro version. Pro version provides other features as well, more details here.

    Regards,
    Pratik

    Hello Pratik,

Thank you so much! I’ve upgraded to Clean Box Pro but it still won’t let me select the posts, only categories which then displays all posts within that category. Is there a way to select posts from different categories and have them appear in the Feature Content?

Also, is there anywhere I can find the tutorial for Clean Box Pro?

    Thanks!

    Hi @Sunshine,
Thank you for upgrading to Pro version. I checked your site and it looks like you have added Posts as featured content. Do you need further help on this?

Yes, I do need additional help if you don’t mind.

I did add posts as featured content, but it only allows me to post categories and not seperate posts from different categories. The posts you see on my site are all from “Health” category. Is there a tutorial you can recommend for Clean Box Pro?

    Thank you!

    Hi @Sunshine,

I get it now, can you try this:
    1. Goto Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Content
    2. Under Select Content Type Select Featured Post Content
    3. Then you will be able to scroll below(notice the scroll bar lengthens), which will have Featured Post 1, Featured Post 2 boxes
    Ref: Screenshot
    4. Then in the box, add in the ids of your post. If you do not know how to find your post’s ID, then please install Catch IDs plugin or Catch Web Tools Plugin and enable Catch IDs Module

    Tutorial is here: https://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/clean-box-pro/#enable-featured-post-content

Let me know how it goes.

    Regards,
    Pratik

Hello. I just purchased the Clean Box Pro theme but am unable to access the featured content options. The only option available is “Enable Feature Content on”. Am I missing something? Thank you for your help.

@eddymree: Once you change the “Enable Feature Content on” option to Homepage/Frontpage or Entire Site, other options should appear after site loade in the preview panel. Can you try it and let me know. Also try disabling all the plugins and check if the problem persists.

Please let me know the results.

Thank you Pratik. Yes, it seems my cache plugin and site maintenance plugin was incompatible with the theme. Once I turned those off, the other theme options became available. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
