Hi,
My blog posts don’t show on my site when published unless I make them ‘featured’ or ‘fastened to the front page’ (I don’t know what this function is called in the English version as I use Adventure Free Version in Danish WordPress).
Hope that someone can help me change this.
Thanks!

Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options => Homepage/Frontpage Settings and make sure that Check to Disable Latest Posts is unchecked. Then your blog post list will be displayed in homepage/frontpage.
Let me know if any problem.

Thanks for quick response. I might not have made it sufficiently clear what I meant. My blog is on a subpage as I use a static frontpage. As I understand your answer I’ll need to use my blog as my frontpage? Can it really be that my posts will not be visible if the blog is a subpage?
Thanks!

April 4, 2016 at 1:29 pm #88762MaheshParticipant@charlottekrenk: No, blog page can be any page, not necessarily homepage. I checked your site, only 2 posts are showing right now, how many posts do you have in admin dashboard? Can you please add one for testing?

MaheshApril 4, 2016 at 2:27 pm #88773charlottekrenkParticipantCan you put up test post again so I can see if I might learn where I made my mistake?
Did you understand my explaination with not ‘locking’ the posts? Hereby I refere to the checkboxes below publish in the top right corner.
Thanks.

April 4, 2016 at 2:34 pm #88774MaheshParticipant@charlottekrenk: Please add a post just for testing, publish it without sticking it to the front page (without out ticking: checkbox below publish). And let me know as soon as you are done with it and I’ll check your site and let you know.

Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Homepage/Frontpage Setting and make sure that all listed categories are selected in Homepage posts categories and check again. And if this solves, if you make new category, make sure that you selected the new category too.
If this doesn’t solve the issue please try disabling the plugin if you are using any.
Let me know if the problem persists.Regards,

April 6, 2016 at 10:14 pm #88939charlottekrenkParticipantHi again Mahesh,
I have checked out your suggestion, which didn’t make a difference. But then again as far as I have been able to understand your sugestion it would only have worked if I had my blogposts on the frontpage, right?
my url: charlottekrenk.com
I have looked more into the issue and have found that actually the posts will show if I choose by category from the categori-widget on the right side. That made me wonder that the problem might be that the blog page in itself is empty and the posts somehow are not connected to the blog page unless I tick off the ‘lock’ box in the post editor. Do you understand what I am saying? If so can that be a key to solving the problem?
Thanks a lot.

MaheshAugust 18, 2016 at 5:52 pm #97546[email protected]ParticipantI’m interested in your solution to this question. I have a similar issue:
Until recently we had a static front page and recent posts as a sub page ~/blog/ but something changed (maybe a wordpress upgrade or a plug-in – none of us can work out what), and now the default page shows recent posts and the static page is available as ~/home/
We’d like to go back to having the static page as the default and ~/blog/ showing recent posts, but can’t figure out how to do that.
I can set the front page to be static, but the ~/blog/ link in the menu gets a 404 error, and I can’t see how to configure the ~/blog? menu item to go to the recent posts page.
Can you help?

http://legendbridaldesigns.co.uk/blog/ should be recent postsAugust 19, 2016 at 9:56 pm #97632MaheshParticipant@brianlowelogic-com: Try disabling the plugin if you are using any and check again. Have you set the Posts pages as blog page in Static Front Page option in Customizer? Please set it to Blog page. Go to Settings=> Permalinks and click Save.
Let me know if the issue persists.Regards,
