Phone number link in header returns function – tel: ' . esc_attr(…)'

The link for telephone number in header returns a function, not the phone number.

tel:’ .esc_attr( preg_replace(‘/\s+/’,”,get_theme_mod(‘highrespnsive_phone’))).’

Is there a way to fix this?

@lereiver : Please post in your site URL. I don’t seem to find any issue with the theme.

@tikaram If you hover over link and view the destination it does not return the phone number.
Here is a screen capture of my mobile phone when clicking on phone number to call:

@lereiver : Please activate the parent theme and let me know if the problem persist in parent theme as well. I don’t seem to find any issue with parent theme.
