    Hello Support,

The 3.0 update menu-bar looks different, bigger and in my opion a bit ugly.
It’s the second time, I’m having troubles with updating this theme.
Since 2.9.2 looking good to me, how can I setup things, that I don’t want to update anymore?

    Thanks in advanced,

    Marc

@marebos : If you don’t want to update then you may just keep on using the theme without updating but in future you may have security issues after some time because bugs are fixed on regular basis. Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Hi Tikaram,

Didn’t you receive complains from other users?
I mean, the menu-bar gained almost 3 times in size (vertically) and there was a small (menu) icon on the extreme left side.
It should be obivious to visitors that this concerns a menu, right?

If you wish, I can roll forward to 3.0 to see for yourself…

    Regards,

    Maurice

Hi Tikaram, I’ve installed 3.0 again, cached, optimized and cleanfixed it.
Indeed it came back to normal sizes. Thank you!

There is another issue, I didn’t mentioned earlier.
I work with a child-theme. but eveytime I update the theme my (2) slides are written over.
I have put this slide-map into the child theme but it didn’t work.

Well it’s not much work to copy and paste those slides again, but it would be nice if I could fix that too.

What folder, do I have to put into the child theme to prevent this?

    Thank you!

@marebos : If you want to make any customizations on you child theme. You have to edit the functions.php file of child theme and add the function there. If you edit the parent theme directly all the customizations will be lost. Make sure you add the code in the functions.php file and you do not need to copy/ paste the code again.

Let me know if you have any further issues.

    Regards,
    Tikaram

    Hi Tikaram,

I’ve tried to make a new child theme with Linea media – child them configurator plugin (best recommended)
It discovered there are more stylesheets in this theme. I could only chose 1 but now my header slides are gone (disappeared) from th e child theme? What can i do? I saw: genericons/genericon.css and css/resposive.ccs

    See pic aatachmentchild theme

    Thank you

    Hi Tikaram,

    Sorry for the delay.
I’m not that handy with whitelisting and htaccess.
But I’ve installed a plugin to whitelist your ip, for this.

Also made a screenshot for you, to see the difference.
There is something missing in the child-theme!
That’s why my header pictures/slider is not showing right now:

Really hope this helps, to solve this.
