The homepage settings are set to static and I have set the page named “Home” as the Home page and posts page as page called “Blog”.
The site will not go live as it is a localhost demo site only.October 24, 2018 at 3:46 am in reply to: Remove a heading & header image is bigger in Woocommerce #157455thetrainingladyParticipantIt is not the Recent Posts Heading I want to change, its the fact that above Recent Posts it says Archive as shown in this screenshot. https://pasteboard.co/HJTXnml.png
Regarding the Woocommerce, it is only a localhost site and if you look at the following screenshots, #1 is the front page of the localhost site with the smaller header image. #2 is the /shop page created by WooCommerce with the header image displaying larger.

thetrainingladyParticipantSorry I meant Homepage Featured Content. Here are the steps:
Go to Appearance > Customise
Go to Homepage Settings
Go to Homepage Featured Content Options
I set an image for Featured Content #1
Insert the Title and Content.
Repeat this step for Featured Content #2 and #3.
Publish the changes.
Load site and refresh page
The changes do not appear, the default images, title and content remain. If I then return to the Dashboard, go to Appearance > Theme Options. Open the Homepage Featured Content area. Repeat the process and save. The changes are now visible on the site.
I am running this on a localhost via WAMP server 2.5 set up on a PC. It is happening on multiple computers. I have the latest version of WordPress running and no plugins active.
thetrainingladyParticipantHi,
Back again and have had the same thing happen again on 5 computers today during a training course. Making edits to the Featured Content on the homepage via WP Customiser did not work, it did not overwrite the original images. We had to go back to the Theme Options window and repeat the process in there which then worked.thetrainingladyParticipant
@Skandha : I don’t have any plugins enabled as yet so nothing for me to disable. It was happening on 3 separate computers all which were new WordPress installs on localhosts with catch-everest theme installed. I am a trainer and happened during a class today to both myself and the participants. -
