@jamesmillerlifeology: I don’t think additional CSS would work in this case as it would only restrict the image size but the image would be cropped in such a way that it wont look good.

You can upload larger image size of around 840*556px or similar aspect ratio so that the image looks good on the featured content section as well as in the single post/page.

You can remove the black shadow of letters in phone version
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.sb-selector:link, .sb-selector:visited, .sb-selector:hover {
	text-shadow: unset !important;
}

Can you explain which distance you are talking about? Is the the space after the text AYURVEDA BAREFOOT?

To have the same nav menu on the top you will need to create a child theme and do a little bit of customization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer to get it done.
