1. Yes that is possible.
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

}

You will need to replace the URL with the URL of the image of your choice.

2. For that you will need to use the Custom Type Team option.

3. Please let me what you would like to change with the testimonial image.

You will need to copy the Languages folder from your parent theme to the child theme. Once you copy the languages folder to child theme your translations won’t be lost even after theme udpated.
