Keymaster@sabine: That’s great you find it. It’s on the right sidebar in your page and post editor. In Visibility, click on Edit and then select “Password Protected”, Ok and then update.

Keymaster@pglavin: You can just add the following CSS in “Custom CSS” box in your theme options panel
.category .page-header { display: none; }Sakin
Keymaster@markw: Catch Everest theme used “Header” for the Header image. Just go to “Appearance => Header” and then upload the image you want and then publish it without cropping.
See this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/
Sakin
Keymaster@tlk: Just hide it by adding the following “CSS” in “Custom CSS” box in your Theme Options panel.
#slider-nav { display: none; }Right now this theme doesn’t have font option. But if you know css then can add it in “Custom CSS” box.

Keymaster@dhmanyanga: Maybe you can search for plugin in http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

Keymaster@OmShanti: Yes there is lot of new features added in Pro version. http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-box-pro/
You can just upload a large header image. Also you have header right sidebar.

Keymaster@blakedwyer: It is sliding fine on my Side. The slider will only slide once the content has been fully downloaded. So, it might take time when internet is slow.
Sakin
Keymaster@kidxjones: Did you check out the Theme Instruction which tells about it. http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest/
To change those text. Login to your WordPress Dashboard and then Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage Featured Content Options.
Then add in the image, title, description and links as per your need.
Sakin
Keymaster@marko2028: See this forum thread. http://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/change-featured-image-slider/
Sakin
Keymaster@TripleMoxy: If you want to have a wide page size then use the Full Width No Sidebar layout for those pages. This will bring full page width.
Sakin
Keymaster@CFarone: If you just want the slider and Featured Content. Then go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage / Frontpage Settings”, uncheck “Enable Latest Posts or Page?”
Sakin
Keymaster@onebreath: Don’t customize the theme by editing the core theme files and functions. If you want to customize the theme then use the Theme Options panel and for css use “Custom CSS” box in Theme Option panel.
But if you want to further customize the theme then build child theme and do the editing in codes in your child theme.
If you haven’t customize the core files then you will not loose your customization.
