    How can I prevent the sidebar information from showing up on the homepage?

    @twocarsm: You can choose the layout from “Appearance => Theme Options => Layout Options”. Then choose No sidebar in “Sidebar Layout Options”.

    For all other pages and post you have the Sidebar layout options under your page/post editor.
