1. First create the Post and don’t forget to add in the Featured Image in the post as this image is used in the slider. To add featured image see this http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image

2. Then get the ID of the post. When you edit your post or write a post, you will see the id in your browser address bar. You can also view the post id in your all post section in WordPress Dashboard. But if you cannot find it then you can use this plugin to view it http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/catch-ids/

3. Then go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider => Featured Post Slider Options”. Add in the post id and click on save

— You can just add widget in “Header Right Sidebar. Go to “Appearance => Widgets”. Then drag and drop “Text” widget to Header Right Sidebar and add int he phone and email address. Then you can add in “Search” widget just below it.

3 – How can i get Footer’s grey area a little bit smaller ( i checked some previous posts but those custom CSS codes did not work for me)
— I see that you have added the following CSS in “Custom CSS” box. But you haven’t change the value of padding. Just change that to 20 or below as per you wish.

@j9hagop: You can increase the number of post from “Settings => Readings” in your WordPress Dashboard. There just change “Blog pages show at most” from 10 to whatever number you want.

@poornima.uk: It must be cache issue. As that menu is to support responsive design and it will go once the new style.css in reloaded. I don’t see it in your site. So, it should be all good.

@donnasander: I don’t know what you mean but I use FF as my default browser. So, there is no way I don’t text in FF. But this is open forum and yes you can add in your view.

@gouramani: You shouldn’t edit core theme files and also editing header.php will do nothing.

You need to build child theme and then remove the action hook and then add in in your arrangement though your child theme functions.php. I think it’s better you hire developer to customize it for you.

@SuperSquid: Thanks for your detail information. Yes, there is little logic problem in the reading setting with our template. So, for now what you can do is. Go to “Settings => Reading” Then in Front page displays, click on “A static page (select below)” and then in “Posts page” just leave empty as “–Select–“. This will remove the blog setting. Which we will fixed it in version updates.

Then go to the page http://www.sacwinterfest.org/winterfest-blog/, edit it and assign page template as “Blog”. This will make the page “winterfest-blog” as your blog.
