If you have made customization via child theme, you will need to do it again or manage it for pro theme as well.

Other theme options settings will be retained.

For multiple use, you can use it in any number of sites. There is no limit.

You are correct. To have images unrelated to pages, you need to upgrade to Pro. Also, Pro version has custom color options so changing all colors of links and heading links will also be assessed.

There is Footer Sidebar even in free version. Checked Dashboard- Appearance- Widgets. You can add in your widgets there to be shown above footer.
