MemberAh got it! added the custom css in the theme Options -> additional css
#main-slider .entry-container { display: none; }
and that worked fine!

That plugin does the job pretty god except for one thing.
I followed your instructions. Still the featured slider displays a little grey box in the video Thumbnail as if it wants to print the post title. If I ad a post title it prints the title “over” the video thumbnail.
How could one hide this box?

MemberSakin, thanks a lot! I’ll go for the plug-in option since I have no idea how to build a child theme 🙂 though 25 bucks is no bargain for placing/embeding a video/code on a website … 🙂

MemberI’ve restored yesterday’s backup in order for the site to work properly…. But I need a solution to this matter since I need to upgrade the theme version to the current one…

I’ve now completely renewed the wp-installation, since i wanted it in an other directory anyway. however, the links on the content images remain.

regeards, heinzPS: the only thing I did not manage to change was the textbox size in the slider… can you change that to about 500px for me…

Thanks for the quick reply. I cleard the cache. not sure if it was the right one there is a ton of options in the w3 total cahce plugin….In the theme options – there is no “#” in the link line…
however the link remains…

That does not seem to work anymore. I tried it with that custom css but the size of the box stayed the same – pro version.Any help?
… and: can i deactivate the read more function for that box? I just want text to be in there!
