So I’ve already updated the theme and its been reverted back, I’ve lost all of my changes. I did add CSS to the Theme Options> Custom CSS but that doesn’t seem to have any effect, not sure why.

Is there any way I can go back to the previous version I had with all of the changes I had made?

All of the logos, default colors were set back and default positioning. I had changed the layout a bit through CSS and the logos and colors.

If you look at the site right now, you will see the erros in IE I am using IE 9. The `Contact section on each page is going over the left border line , the footer logo is to the left when it should  be to the right and the countdown ticker, the numbers within  it are outside the main frame.

 

I tried to copy in screenshots but this editor won`t allow me too. Just the other day the site was fine in IE but today it looks horrible.

Thanks I’ll try that. I was also wondering why my site looks horrible in IE, if you go to prophixuserconference.com in IE it’s all messed up. Is there a separate IE style sheet I should be using for this browser? It looks fine in Chrome and Safari.

Is there anyway to have the slider images link out to an external site instead of a post?

I have re-sized the image to the same size as the Featured Slider.

When I went into my Page and clicked on “Featured Image”  I added my image which is saved on my desktop but when I hit update this is the message I receive:

You are using the multi-file uploader. Problems? Try the browser uploader instead.

Maximum upload file size: 8MB. After a file has been uploaded, you can add titles and descriptions.

Dismiss“image1.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/prophixuserconference.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2012/12.

I haven’t been able to upload pics to my wordpress server through the browser, I’ve just gone into the file structure in filezilla and created and added my images there and then referenced the image path in WordPress.

 

I am on a PC. Is there anyway I can add the images I want on my image slider through my DB? I have access to it.

I’ve added images to my posts and added in the post id’s into the featured image section within the theme setting>featured slider.

 

The images I am using in m my post are URL based because for some reason I am not able to use the image that is saved on my desktop. I get an .htacess error whenever I try to upload any image anywhere. Not sure why. Any ideas?

Also I’m using Simple Catch as my theme not Catch Box

Did both and I’m doing everything it says to do  but still my images won’t show up. I’m not sure why.
