My site was fine and then after the update I see that the CSS I previously made isn’t taking effect anymore.

I need the site description bigger and in gold and the menu to be the same gold. It is listed in my CSS editor but isn’t working. Can someone please help?

@ktglasscock: Don’t edit any core theme css and files. To change core theme file you need to build child theme and do the edits.

But if you just want to change CSS. Then you don’t need to build child theme but you have to add the changes css in Custom CSS box that you wil find in “Appearance => Theme Options”.

I did add the CSS changes. They are currently there but they aren’t effective on my site. I don’t understand why the CSS change in “Theme options” is there as before but aren’t showing up on my site. Please advise.

@ktglasscock: I see that you have already add the css for site title and tagline and it is working fine. I don’t understand what you want to do it now.
