Hi – Everytime I save something using “Theme Options” my entire website customisation is reset (feature slider, promotion headline, header slider etc)
Now I stuck as I cannot change the promotion headline without accessing theme option. And Theme option will not save anything but will reset even what has been saved already! Please can you help?
1. Why can I not save anything via Theme Options?
2. Instead of saving why does everything get reset?
3. How can I change the Promotion headline if I don’t use the theme option. I am sure this option was available on the wordpress menu under Appearance > customise but I can’t see it any more. Please help – it is a live website but if any one goes their right now it looks under construction! http://www.successculture.com
Thanks

It looks like the options for Promotion Headline is changed. I checked your site and there seems to be different values saved. Can you check the site and let me know if the problem is solved? For customizer, try disabling all your plugins and see if the options appear on customizer?
Let me know how it goes.

October 12, 2016 at 7:19 am #101307PratikKeymaster@rms: If the options reset when changing from Theme Options, then it looks like it is your server issue. Some server block saving HTML data. I am afraid this is the case. Customizer handles options differently(by encoding and decoding), so this will not be a problem there. You can use Customizer as it has all the features of Theme Options and further, live preview. We will depreciate/remove theme options in the future.
@venus: You can reset your settings to default by going to Appearance=> Customize=> Reset All Settings =>Check to reset all settings to default
Please bear in mind that all your settings will be lost
I cannot understand your second question. If you switched theme, then switch back to previous theme, your settings/options will be there. Save it somewhere in notepad or other text editors and then reuse it.Regards,
