Hello,
I have been experiencing an error in the way the search box appears since updating to version 4.x. It still functions, but with a tiny button to the side. Reverting to Catch Box 4.0 resolves the issue. Any suggestions?
Many thanks.

It is working fine in our server. It seems you are using some tools to minify style.css may be that is creating the issue. Please disable the tool and check it again.
Let me know if the problem persist.Regards,

Thank you, you were exactly right. I was using Cloudflare to minify CSS. Turning this feature off saw a return to normal function.
However, there is of course a performance loss in doing so. I had been successfully using minify CSS for a long time prior to the recent updates, has there been a change that might have affected this? As noted previously, reverting to a Catch Box version prior to recent updates also corrected the issue. Ideally it would be preferable to have proper function without the performance loss if possible.

Yes it does result in performance loss to some extent. And yes there has been a lot of changes in CatchBox, recenty the theme has been made accessibility ready too. You can check the changelogs for details. It seems, after CSS minification some styles (i.e. the search icon style) could be recognized by the browser and causing the problem. I checked with firebug tool and the genericons style for the button is not showing up.
Let me know further.Regards,

The performance loss is relatively small and given Catch Box’s generally very good performance, it is a minor sacrifice worth making.
I wonder however if it is something that could possibly be addressed in a future update?
