    Just upgraded an hour ago. http://www.north-forks. com.

    Two things I’ve noticed:

    1. Really huge search bar across the top of the page. How do I get rid of this search bar altogether and tighten things up?

    2. Part way down the blog feeds, I have a single post without a photo, intentionally. (Summertime Has Come and Gone & North Fork Table) However, these two posts seem to have jumbled together on the home page. The photo for the first post is above it, and the text for the second post is beside the first. How do I fix this?

    Everything else looks right to my eye so far.

    So I managed to get rid of the search bar at the top. Any way to tighten that space up a hair, I’d like to see the site title image be equidistant top and bottom – to the top of the page and the featured sliders.

    Still can’t fix #2….

    Thanks!

    @Jason: I see that you have remove the header content but it’s wrap is there. So, you have spaces above your logo. To remove that you can add the following css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
    #header-content { display: none; }

    I don’t see your homepage jumbled up. Can you send me screenshot of your issue.

    Sakin,

    Thanks for the CSS voodoo. Awesome!

    I think I figured out the problem! I was using IE11 and when I run Firefox, there’s no issue. I had a similar problem with a plugin that turned out to be related to IE’s compatibility settings (they needed to be turned on). They since updated their plugin, and as soon as I started writing this response, I experimented and shut off compatibility view for the site and it displayed properly.
