I’m still using Fotographie 2.0. When I try to add social icons to my Footer Using CT:Social Icons, It only gives me the option of “Title” and “Select Menu” (where the only option is Main Header Menu). That’s It! Nowhere to enter a link to social page or Icons to select. This is also true with other Social Media widgets I’ve tried. I have upgraded WordPress to 5.4.2
Please help. I have a Pro license but I can’t download the new version without purchasing again.July 12, 2020 at 12:35 am #252713
@davehartmusic-com: You will need to create a new menu and enter the links of social icons in the menu and select the newly made menu in the CT:Social Icons. Please follow this link about creating custom menu.
Can you please let me know if you have an active subscription or let me know the date of purchase so that I can contact sales and let you know soon.

Thank You, I will try that. My subscription is from 2017 so it’s expired. (Key 73c59f924a9537536980c4deb6e9dcf0)July 12, 2020 at 4:45 pm #252749
Still not working. I’ve tried everything. created new menu with custom links, assigned to social media menu. Added CT: Social Icons widget to footer #1. The only thing that shows up in the footer is the menu title. No navigation label, no links at all. Also, there is nowhere to add links to icons when menu is created. All I see is “URL” and “Navigation Label”. This shouldn’t be that difficult. Can you please walk me through?July 12, 2020 at 10:53 pm #252738
Still no luck. This theme only allows menus in 2 locations, Header and Social. I’m unclear how to determine where “Social” is located. I want it in the footer. The customizer also states in the Widget section
“Your theme has 7 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”
What does that mean?
I created a new menu called “Social Icons” and assigned it to “Social” menu. I uploaded PNG images of a couple icons and added their URLs to the “custom Links” of the Menu. I then go to Footer 1 and add the widget CT: Social Icon and select the new menu “Social Icons”. Nothing. No change. What am I doing wrong??July 13, 2020 at 12:01 am #252780July 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm #252940
http://www.hartmusic.com I have some “additional CSS” but I tried deleting that to see if it was causing an issue. It made no difference.

@davehartmusic-com: I checked your site and there is a social menu in the footer of your site. Let me know if you are still facing the issue displaying social menu.

That was a poor work around using CT: Featured Images. Not at all what I want. So no, I am still having no success using CT: Social Icons. Please helpJuly 16, 2020 at 4:23 pm #253206
By The Way, The social menu does work when it’s in the Header, just not the Footer.
Does this theme allow a menu in the footer??July 17, 2020 at 2:35 am #253240
