In pro, I go to the themes options etc. and when I try to change menu background and text colors, the changes are not reflected. I am able to change the default background of the entire page, but changes to menu background and text do not take!!!

I will send you my passwords off-line – cannot do so publicly.
How do I do that.
Thank you for your help.ps. I commented out two lines of code with an apostrophe – these were the two lines you gave me earlier.

I am back to working on my menu.
I used this in Custom CSS – code from you.#fixed-header-top { background-color: #FFFFFF; }
#fixed-header-top ul.menu > li a { color: #000000; }#fixed-header-top ul.menu ul { background-color: #fff; }
#fixed-header-top ul.menu ul li a { color: #000; }My issue is that when using this code, the menu item text disappears when I hove over the item or click on the top item.
And my main issue is that the Color Options for the menu do not seem to take.
So, I removed this code and as an example sett Menu Hover Text Color to red.
Nothing changes in the menu.

That is true – I did change my menu.
I was not able to modify the background and font colors in the Fixed Header Top Menu.
In trying to debug, I deselected the Top Menu and used the Primary Menu. Then I was able to modify the menu colors. To do that, I used the panel displayed via the dashboard.
At the same time, I did have “Disable Primary and Secondary Menu” selected under Theme Option – Menu Options.
So, perhaps there is some type of conflict re the settings in these two menu control panels – i.e., the one obtained under the Dashboard and the one obtained under Theme Options-Menu Options.
Frankly, I am not even sure what WP Super Cache Plugin does … anyway, for now, Menu color modifications work if I deselect the Top Menu and Select Primary Menu.
Sorry for some of my questions – the last web site I did was 7 years ago, in Dreamweaver and I am just figuring out Word Press etc. – the latter being superior for what I need now.
Thanks again for you help.
