    Is it possible to have the menu stretch across the top, instead of pinned to the right side?

    Hello Glen,

    Yes, you can place the menu horizontally at the top, for that you have to go to
    Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Theme Options > Menu Options.

    you will find the option to place the menu horizontal or vertical
