    Hello,

I have used many themes by Catch and really like the High Responsive theme. Unfortunately, I can’t get any changes on the home page to take effect. I have the Essential Content plugin installed and activated, but I can’t turn off the sections. I also can’t get the sidebar to go away on the home page. Something seems to be broken with the home page layout. I am using a child theme, but I tested by activating only the High Responsive theme with no modifications and I have the same issues.

Also, my Recent Post widget does not have the thumbnails as in the demo. Is there a setting or different widget for that?

    Thank you!

@heidi-lewis : You can easily disable the sections from the customizer.

To disable Portfolio : Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Portfolio
Under Enable on : select Disabled.

You can disable services and testimonials in the same way as you did for the portfolio.

To disable sidebar from the Homepage : Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options
Under Homepage/Archive Layout : Select no sidebar.
It looks like there is some problem in your child theme customization, I don’t seem to find any issue with the theme.

The demo of the theme uses a ct: featured post widget which is not available in free version. Please upgrade to pro if you would like to use it.

    Regards,

    Hello Tikaram,

Yes, I did see that spot to deactivate the sections, but even though I have the plugin installed, it tells me I need the plugin. I then went to the plugin settings for Essential Content and used the toggle to turn off sections, but they will not disable.

    Hello,

Please disregard my message. I have switched to another theme.
