    Can the meta data be hidden for post author and date of post. I used to use the plug in Show Hide Author
    By Marios Alexandrou but it is no longer available.

    I found the Catch plugin Show-Hide-Metadata, but the post category still shows up. Is there a way to hide that too?

    @fireflywebs: Login to your WordPress admin. Go to Appearance => Customize => additional css and add the following css.

    .recent-blog-content-wrapper .entry-header .entry-meta {
    display: none;
}
