    I would like to have four footer widgets. This way there are four small boxes in one straight line across horizontally. Let me know how this can be done, Thank you.

    @mg13: Simple Catch theme don’t have footer widgets. You need to build Child Theme and register footer sidebar and css. For this you need to hire developer.

    Can you provide me a CSS rule to make the first footer widget to go horizontal instead of vertical?

    @mg13: I see the problem. You have added all the widgets in Footer Widget Area One. Add it in Footer Widgets two and Footer Widget three. then it will show it. Also you have to remove the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
    #first, .widget-area { width: 200px; }

    Yes but I wanted to know if there was a way around having to build a child theme. I wanted to know if we can make the widgets go from left to right instead of top to bottom.
