I’m using the Featured Pages widget and have entered the Pages ID numbers in to it, using an order I want the pages to be displayed, in a grid of 6 pages. Here’s the problem. The widget doesn’t accept the order I type the ID numbers and will display the page excerpts, with thumbnails, in an order the widget chose.
I do need to control the order of the pages displayed.
As I am NOT providing a URL to a site under development you will have to work with the above and below information.
I want 6 pages, 3 columns, 2 rows. No problem. It does that.
I want the Pages to display like this:
First row, Pages 4, 10, 2
second row, Pages, 21, 1, 3
I enter the page IDs in the widget in that order: 4, 10, 2, 21, 1, 3
The widget displays them like this:
1st row, 21, 10, 4
2nd row, 3, 2, 1
I have tried entering the IDs in the widget, with or without space between comma and next number. I’ve entered then in different order. I have reversed the order. But the widget is just showing the pages as it wants it to do, in a descending order.
Is this a bug? Does it need an update? Have I missed doing something that needs to be done so this Widget shows the pages in the order I need them to show?
