Hi

I’m running the Fotografie theme v.1.4.3 on WordPress v.4.9.
Since the theme update the featured image thumbnails for the post site won’t render anymore. They get displayed in full size (height).

The last entry from the 22nd of November stretches. All entries before rendered automatically.

This appears in full width view only. In the vertical iPad view it renders as usual in a square shape.

Did I miss a new setting or is it a bug?
I have a couple new posts in the pipeline, but this issue destroys the landing page design.
Help is highly appreciated.

@nina : The issue is due to the length of the excerpt that you have used on your site. You have used a formatted text as excerpt on your latest post which includes divs and lots of unused space. It looks like you have inserted a manual excerpt. Please try reducing the excerpt to four of five lines. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

@tikaram: thank you very much for the quick reply. You were right, it was the excerpt length. I can change it in the general WordPress Settings, but only define characters or words, no lines. I’d love to change it to lines though, since my posts vary in word length. Is there any way in the Fotografie theme to alter it in another way and define “max_lines” somewhere?

@nina : To add an excerpt to a post, simply write one in the Excerpt field under the post edit box. Some screen options on the Post & Page edit Administration Panels are hidden by default. The Excerpt field is hidden by default if it has not been used before.

Screen Options, displayed as a hanging tab under the toolbar, allow the user to decide what fields or modules are presented in the work area for a given Administration Screen. Each Screen may have a different set of Screen Options.

Click on the Screen Options tab to expand the options available for a particular Screen, check on Excerpt under boxes, then click the Screen Options hanging tab to collapse the Screen Options.

I am exporting and importing the blog post from blog.toehold.in to toehold.in/blog. But the featured images are not appearing in the toehold.in/blog.

How can i get all the featured images from the old site blog.toehold.in to toehold.in/blog/?

We are working on new theme template the7 product.

Since i am newbie to this export import option. I am stuck with it. Could you please help me on this?
