Hi,

how can I define a featured image on the home / start page of the My Music Band Theme. The start page is not a page I can access as a regular WordPress page.

@jan-erikkunze-com : The image that you can assign on the home/start page is the header image. It can be accessed through the customizer.
Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Header Media
Under Header Image : add your desired image and click on publish.

Let me know if this helps you resolve your issue.

I have done so, but the header media image does not appear as featured image for the homepage (tried to send as Whatsapp Link and Linkedin Post – no image appears). URL is https://pique-jazz.com.

and let me know if there is any theme related issue.

Hi Tikaram,

the header image issue works fine, but the header image from the theme is not recognized by Google, Whatsapp, Linkedin etc. as the featured image if I share the link there. Using other WP themes this works good. How to define the featured image in the My Music Band theme, especially for the start page, because this page is not editable as a regular WP page?

Hi Jan,

For the homepage image on Social sites, you need to manage it from your SEO plugin. I see that you are using All in one SEO plugin. so, login to your Dashboard and then go to “All in One SEO => Social Networks” and click on “Facebook” tab, scroll down to “Home Page Settings ” and update the image there.
