I set up 4 columns of Featured contents each comprising:-

Image
Link URL
Title
Content.

Everything was fine. I swtiched from one link to another, to the Home page and other pages. There was no doubt the Featured Content was saved, and working as expected.

I then added the url for the facebook page and saved.

On returning to the Home page, all the Featured Content data has disappeared, except the Title. ( no image, no url link, no content)

I’m not a newbie and know my way around different WP themes. To lose saved data is very worrying and could be a disaster if a website using Adventurous is published, and then begins to crumble from within.

Has anyone had this problem?

Hi Marek,

This is strange. I check in Adventurous theme as you said and it’s working fine. We are not loosing any data. There is only one change that you might have open Theme Options panel in 2 browser or 2 tabs or 2 computer. Where when you save it the Facebook, the featured content must be empty. Other, it should be working fine.

I’m not sure if I had two browsers open with the theme options, to be honest. I can see your point. As it wasn’t a lot of hassle, I just set up the Featured content again and it has been ok since then..Thanks.

Whilst we are in touch, can I ask you another question?

Why is the body of the page so narrow? If there is a sidebar, the width is ok, but if you choose no sidebar, it’s still the same width. looking pretty narrow in the centre of the page?

Hi Marek,

If you want full width without the sidebar, then you need to upgrade to Adventurous Pro theme where you option to use “No Sidebar, Full Width” Layout which will solve your issue.
